# Uranium Stocks Jump

On the US Markets Uranium stocks jumped  on Friday following Kazatomprom's H1 release and 2025 production guidance suggesting a c20% reduction in production vs prior guidance.

Uranium was up slightly on Friday but the Uranium stocks all bounced strongly led by UROY +14.9%, DNN +14%, UEC +13.1%, EU +11.8% and URG +11.5%.

The sector was very strong at the start of the year following reports of a squeeze on Uranium with the raw material peaking at $105, before falling back to the current level of $81.3. Over the last three months the stocks are collectively down 20% - after the 10.5% rise on Friday.
